1. Brush your aligner with mouthwash!
This is a tip that will make your aligners stay transparent and avoid a foggy look. However, do not soak them in mouthwash.
2. Change into your new aligner at night before bed!
Since you will be sleeping this will help avoid some of the initial tightness that occurs after aligner insertion.
3. If it’s not in your face it’s in your case!
Did you know that the most common way people loose their trays is by throwing them in the garbage in a paper towel? When they are not in your mouth, always keep your aligners in your case to avoid losing them.
4. Chew your chewies!
Using your chewies for at least 10 minutes a day will ensure your aligners are fitting the best they can. If they fit well your teeth will move well too!
5. Back to front!
When removing your aligners, start from the back inside of your teeth and gradually work your way forward to avoid bending your aligners. If you still have difficulty, we can provide you with special hooks that will make removal easier.
